Visual Connections Wins QMARS Contract
Prime Visual Connections LLC, has been awarded an IT Development Contract for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Quality Management and Review System (QMARS).
QMARS is a national standardized system used to capture, track, manage, and analyze the activities associated with all case review types associated with the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care (BFCC) Program.
The ultimate goal of the system is improve the effectiveness, efficiency, economy, and quality of services delivered to Medicare beneficiaries. The contract, is for design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and operations services to support the existing QMARS pilot application following deployment into production. The solicitation for this work was issued for GSA IT 70 contract holders and was set aside for SDVOSB participation.
Visual Connections has comprehensive government and industry experience that is directly relevant to the management and execution of the QMARS project, particularly in the area of Pega development. The QMARS application was developed using the Pega Dynamic Case management (DCM) platform from Pegasystems. Visual Connections has certified Pega Architects and Engineers that have worked on similar federal projects, including the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) project at CMS, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP), and the CMS Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) -J15 (Riverbend Government Benefits Administrator (RGBA)) Customer Service Program.
