Visual Connectionsâ€™ Runners Take On the Ravens 5K to Benefit the House of Ruth and One Love Foundation
A team of runners from Visual Connections participated in the Ravens 5K to help celebrate the kickoff of the Baltimore Ravensâ€™ 2015 season. The run benefitted the House of Ruth, which is one of the nationâ€™s leading intimate partner violence centers, helping thousands of battered women and their children find safety and security.
The One Love Foundation also received funds from the run. One Love works with young people across the country to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and to activate communities to work to change the statistics around relationship violence. The Visual Connections runners crossed the finish line on following the race, the group enjoyed a Ravens-sponsored tailgate featuring live music, photo opportunities, and refreshments.
