Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) Contract Award
Visual Connections (VC) announced today it has been awarded a position on the Health and Human Services (HHS)/Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) SPARC vehicle. SPARC, the Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract is a $25 billion dollar, 10-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) acquisition vehicle, which will be the predominant vehicle at CMS for issuing multiple opportunities via task orders. VC is one of the 7 SDVOSBs and 4 HUBZONE contractors selected as a prime contractor.
This contract will provide strategic, technical, and program management advice, guidance and support services to CMS to facilitate the modernization of business processes and supporting systems and their operations. These systems will include the Federal Healthcare Exchange and Medicare/Medicaid information technology systems. More specifically, the scope of work under the SPARC IDIQ Contract entails the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, operations coordination, and maintenance for CMSâ€™ and HHS/HHS OPDIVS automated systems and business application software that integrate hardware, software, and communication technologies.
