Runners from Visual Connections Take on 5K at Semper Fi Event
Employees from Visual Connections were proud to show their support this past Saturday for the 6th Annual Semper Fi 5K Race/Walk held in Washington, DC.
100% of the proceeds benefited the Semper Fi Fund, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance and quality of life solutions to servicemen and women from all branches of the military who have been injured in post 9-11 combat.
The Semper Fi Fund is only one of two veteran charities to receive an A+ rating from The American Institute of Philanthropy, and Charity Navigator gave it its highest ranking. Ninety-four cents of every dollar that the Semper Fi Fund receives goes directly to wounded warriors.
Visual Connections CEO Fred Deese makes his way to the finish line at the Semper Fi event.
In addition to participating in the race, Visual Connections made an extra donation in support of this great cause.
